Only a hundred metres from the majestic Piazza Cavour, at the centre of the Prati neighbourhood, the Cicerone Hotel allows our guests easy access not only to Rome’s main tourist attractions but also the city’s many restaurants and shops. The fabulous shops at Via del Corso and Piazza di Spagna are only a fifteen minute walk away (or one stop on the metro subway). The Vatican is the same distance, just through the Via Cola di Rienzo area.
Positioned in the exclusive and elegant Prati neighbourhood, you can walk from the Cicerone Hotel Rome to Castel Sant’Angelo, Saint Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums. In the other direction across the Tiber, you can wander through the medieval heart of the city with its unique and world-famous fountains, churches and squares.
From Castel Sant’Angelo, on the other hand, you can follow the Tiber towards Saint Peter’s to Trastevere, the Rome neighbourhood famous for its nightlife, full of bars, pubs and restaurants open all hours.
The bust stop is only 15 metres from the hotel, and the “Lepanto” metro subway stop is five minutes away, allowing you to get anywhere in the city using public transport. Nonetheless, the best way to visit the city and discover its treasures is on foot, especially wandering through the streets and alleys of the historical centre.
