Breakfast at your hotel and then board your private coach for a private transfer to meeting point without guide for Rafting on the Tiber in the heart of Rome. The meeting point is at Porta del Popolo, near the Flaminio metro stop. A short walk (5 min) will take you to the embarkation area on the river, where we will find the equipment ready. The rafting guide will hold a briefing to illustrate paddling techniques, behavior on the boat and safety procedures. The main rescue tool in the river will be explained on land. You will be gliding on the water sheltered from the traffic and noise of the city. During the path you’ll see the majestic Castel S. Angelo and the imposing Dome of San Pietro in the background! Here you will make a short stop to rest and take pictures. The rafting guide will tell anecdotes and historical facts about the main monuments and bridges encountered along the way. Still a few hundred meters and you arrive at the Tiber Island. In the end, the evocative passage under the only remaining arch of Ponte Rotto takes us towards the landing at the Port of Ripa Grande, on the right bank, below Trastevere. 3rd Day
